Ed has been the Head Professional at Northfield since 1980. An active player in his own right, Ed has represented Canada at the World Team Championships in 1990 Glasgow, Scotland and 1993 Barcelona, Spain. He has also won several national & provincial doubles titles over the years. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Ed heads up our very capable team of tennis instructors.
Qualifications: BSc University of Toronto, Level 2 coach, Level 2 Club Professional, member of Canadian Tennis Professional Association, USPTR Professional
Greg has been teaching tennis for over 25 years, joining Northfield in 1986. Over the years, he has competed in Open & Class “A “competitions but his passion is coaching players of all levels.
Qualifications: Vandemeer Tennis University 1-IV, USPTR Professional Level, Level 1 Club Professional, member of Canadian Tennis Professional Association
Trevor has been teaching at Northfield since 1992 and has worked with all levels of juniors and adults. Having competed in singles and doubles tournaments at the provincial level, Trevor has a strong passion for taking his students to the next level.
Qualifications: USPTR, Level 1 Club Professional
Andrew has coached at the local, National & International levels over the past 10 years.
In addition to working in grassroots squash, Andrew has coached on two NCAA division II championship teams and two division III Championship teams (St. Lawrence University and University of Western Ontario respectively).
Andrew coached the Bermuda Junior Boy’s National Team to the 2012 Caribbean Team Championship as well as the under 19 and under 13 individual titles.
Andrew played four years of Division I NCAA squash with the University of Western Ontario and most recently won the 30+ division of the Grand Open (NYC).
